AskBot ("Company", "we", "our", "us") provides an SMS-based Q&A service that delivers AI-generated answers to user-submitted questions through UAim Higher.

We store:
- Questions you text us
- AI-generated replies we send back
- Conversation history

- Carrier metadata
2.4 Billing Data
For payment processing, we collect:
- Last 4 digits of payment cards
- Stripe customer ID
- Plan purchase information
Note: No complete credit card numbers are stored on our servers. All billing is handled by Stripe and subject to its own privacy safeguards.

- Manage free quotas and paid subscription credits

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:

5. Data Retention
- Message logs: 18 months, then deleted or anonymized
- Phone numbers & billing records: kept while you have an active account or as required by law
- STOP lists: retained indefinitely to honour opt-out requirements
6. Your Rights & Choices
- Text STOP at any time to block future messages
- Access or delete your data by emailing privacy@[your-domain].com from your registered phone number
- Control geo-permissions through your account settings (U.S. by default)
- California (CCPA) and EEA (GDPR) residents may have additional rights
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS, TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access to production systems is protected by MFA and least-privilege IAM roles. While no system is 100% secure, we will notify affected users of any breach as required by law.
8. Children`s Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced via SMS or email before they take effect.
